2.    Open Risk Taker

Based on Richard Cantillon in Hisrich & Peter (1998), a successful entrepreneur not only want to get the benefit solely but they are even willing to take high risks is where they not sure if they will be successful. They can overcome the risks that occur as best as possible and not flinch. Opportunities always come from risk taking although it is dangerous.
The risk taking propensity of entrepreneur for new venture is objectively. Researchers has issued a statement that higher risk-taking cannot be a difference between entrepreneurs based on these characteristics. This is so because the fact is very subjective and cannot be used as a yardstick to see the successful of entrepreneurs.

For example, Tan Sri Dr Anthony Francis Fernandes, also known as Tony Fernandes is one of the entrepreneurs who have this characteristic. He was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air Asia and founder of Tune Group Tony has made changes to the company Air Asia that previously suffered a loss to the company that has developed now. In 2001, he had bought Air Asia from DRB-Hicom to RM1, but with that RM1 came with a whopping debt of RM40 million and two aging Boeing planes. The vision he established for the airline Air Asia is becoming a major low-cost airline in Asia where as many as three billion people had previously been subjected to high air fares. It shows that he brave to takes higher risks with uses his personal saving to sustain and growth the Air Asia and he also mortgage his house.
